For the woman who's hit the moment of asking "what happened to my life?"
— and is ready to do something about it.

Hey lovely, I'm so glad you're here.

Somewhere along the way, life started happening to you instead of you choosing it. Let's change that.

Sound familiar?

Groundhog Day, on repeat. Everyone else's schedule before your own. Somewhere in there, you lost track of what you actually wanted.

You've been carrying a lot, for a long time — and calling it "just how it is."

Not because something's wrong with you. Because nobody ever told you it's allowed to look different.

Midlife isn't the ending. It's the opening.

This is where you get to ask what you actually want — not from guilt, not from crisis, just curiosity. Freedom. Time coming back into your hands. The chance to find out who you are outside of every role you've been playing.

This is where the real fun starts.

I'm Mel.

A few years ago, I made myself a promise — 10 minutes of movement a day. Non-negotiable. It doesn't sound like much, but it was the first promise I'd made to myself in as long as I could remember.

Eight months later, I ran a half marathon.

But it was never really about the running. It was about finally carving out space that was mine — and watching what grew from that, inside and out.

That one decision cracked something open. It made me believe that something different was possible.

I'm a mindset coach for women 40+ — the ones who are still figuring things out, still have work to do, but are ready to change. If that's you, you're exactly who I love working with.

Why "Mindset for Happiness"?

We don't get to control our outer world. But our inner world — how we respond, what we choose to focus on, whether we let circumstances run the show — that's ours.

That's the whole idea. Not fixing yourself. Just remembering you have a choice.

“I absolutely loved working with Mel during our coaching series. It was truly life enhancing! When we first connected I was feeling like I was living in a constant state of ‘Groundhog Day’! I was balancing a new role at work, studying for a new career change and trying to balance all the things that come with motherhood. I really wanted to shift and move through some mindsets that were holding me back. Right from our first conversation we connected. Mel had such a kind, yet no fuss approach. I felt seen and heard and wanted the support and guidance she could offer. She is a wealth of knowledge, and I felt supported in my goals and values the entire time. After each of our calls I felt empowered and called to step into my truth. I now feel clearer in knowing what I want, what I want my life to look like and how I can keep moving forward towards that.”

“When I came to Mel I was super keen to get clarity on my purpose and work on my mindset. I was feeling overwhelmed in some areas of my life. Mel was open, kind and provided a really safe space for me to open up and go deep. The way we broke down little actions I could take for each goal between sessions made it so much easier to be accountable, they helped me stay focused. By taking actions on my goals, I have freed up so much time to be present in life rather than dwell on negative thoughts or feelings. I feel much more grounded and in tune with who I am and what I stand for. Thank you so much, you have helped me break down some barriers that were firmly in place and I feel like a renewed version of myself going into 2025.”

why choosing happiness is key:

Happiness isn’t just about fleeting moments of joy or checking off goals on your to-do list. It’s about living in alignment with your values, having a sense of purpose and feeling emotionally at peace. True happiness is a mindset that stems from within, not from external circumstances. Building a life of happiness is about cultivating a balance of the following key components:
